    Responsibilities

    SCOPE OF WORK

    • Accountable for the management and performance of design/engineering/pre-fab department personnel, the integration and coordination of technical designs with other location departments, teams, and external consultants, and the review of completed department work for targeted projects, technical accuracy, and satisfaction of project requirements.
    • Works within a budget as directed, and may be asked to research, develop plans and oversee the implementation of programs for the marketing/sales of the company's capabilities.
    • Travel required.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Oversees and is accountable for the department performance of detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, installation, and maintenance standards and specifications.
    • Ensures department's completed work is in compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
    • As required may participate in the inspection of completed installations; observes ongoing operations for conformance to specifications, as well as operational, safety, and quality standards.
    • Participates in the estimation of labor, materials, equipment, construction, etc.
    • Plans the overall department operations and ensures achievement of goals, schedules and objectives either directly or through subordinate staff.

    Qualifications

    WHAT YOU OFFER

    • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent studies/experience.
    • Experience: Position requires a high degree of technical knowledge of lighting design, electrical construction, proficiency in NEC code standards, and computer estimating applications. Strong administrative, computer, and communication skills also required.
